Job Description
This role is a dual position as a Human Resource Manager and General Services Manager.He/She will be responsible for developing HR strategies, managing recruitment, overseeing performance appraisals, and ensuring legal compliance in HR. They will also manage daily operations, ensure high-quality service delivery, and maintain relationships with line managers and other employees. The role requires proven HR experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and in-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop HR strategies aligned with company’s plan.
- Maintain HR Information System.
- Implement policies for HR efficiency.
- Participate in HR policy development.
- Manage recruitment and selection and conduct job evaluations.
- Assist in performance incentive scheme development.
- Provide HR policy guidance to employees.
- Administer employee welfare.
- Improve HR processes and systems.
- Conduct employee orientation and training.
- Develop HR policies and procedures.
- Execute HR services in compensation, benefits, recruitment, and retention.
- Prepare and administer employment contracts.
- Administer medical scheme and process claims.
- Assist managers in grievance handling and disciplinary matters.
- Manage performance appraisal system.
- Ensure legal compliance in HR management.
- Supporting the GS Section Head and overseeing service delivery standards.
- Facilitate monthly inspiration sessions -guest invitation , theme formulation etc.
- Participate in business unit strategic planing.
- Cascade the company objectives to a department level for the Human capital & GS department.
- Follow up the implantation of the cascaded plan and report on the status on a consistent way to the business unit leader.
- Perform tasks assigned by immediate manager
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of BA Degree in Human Resources or any other related field.
- At least five (5) years HR experience in a similar position.
- Proven working experience as HR Manager or another HR Executive.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience on doing strategic plans is a plus
