Job Description

Ethio Impact PLC. is looking for highly qualified and experienced individual to join our company. If you have bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in preferably manufacturing experience and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Follows-up and collects Store Issue Voucher (SIV), Good Receiving Notes (GRN), Raw Material Issue Vouchers (RMIV), Finished Goods Receiving Note (FGRN), Store Transfers for raw materials, Finished Goods, Spare Parts, expendable tools and other stock items.
  • Codifies store issue voucher by cost center and prepare necessary journal entry.
  • Prepare monthly stock, purchase and consumption summary by item of expenditure.
  • Prepare monthly/finished goods stock report in quantity and value in accordance with their classification.
  • Agrees monthly/quarterly the value balances on the stock record cards with the value balances on the general/subsidiary ledger accounts.
  • Participates in annual inventory and prepares yearend inventory valuation for direct materials, indirect materials, work in process and finished goods
  • Prepares monthly stock position, purchase and consumption summary by items of expenditure.
  • Reconciles monthly the finished goods, raw materials, spare parts, tools and other stock items with store stock card.
  • Follows-up and reports sales returns and accounting treatment on time.
  • Analyze and track all manufacturing costs, including direct labor, materials, and overhead expenses.
  • Compare standard costs to actual production costs, identify variances, and investigate their root causes. Work with operations to develop corrective action plans to minimize future variances.
  • Develop and maintain accurate standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead, considering factors like production volume and material prices.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure a clear understanding of cost drivers and their impact on profitability.

Requirements:

  • BA in Accounting and Finance.
  • 4 Years in Accounting and Finance preferable to have manufacturing experience
  • Good knowledge of Peachtree Accounting.
