Our company Ethio Impact Consulting PLC. is looking for Sr. Purchaser for one of our client.
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Sr. Purchaser. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring goods, materials, and services needed for company operations in a timely, cost-effective, and quality-assured manner. This role requires strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management .
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and service.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and follow up on delivery schedules.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure value for money.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and timelines.
- Monitor market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and procurement ethics.
- Manage supplier performance through regular evaluations and feedback.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or trading company in Ethiopia.
