Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail oriented and result driven Accountant to manage and oversee all financial accounting functions within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing day to day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic financial planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general
ledger maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
• File corporate tax returns, VAT declarations, customs duties, and transfer pricing documentation in a timely manner.
• Handle foreign currency transactions, monitor exchange rate fluctuations, and implement hedging strategies.
• Oversee inventory costing, COGS analysis, and logistics-related accounting
• Ensure timely filing of corporate tax, VAT, customs duties, and transfer pricing
documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 5 years of relevant experience
• Additional training or certification in IFRS (International Financial Reporting
Standards) is a strong advantage
