Job Description
Ethio Impact Consulting PLC is seeking a Purchaser on behalf of a private company.
The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services for the company. The role ensures purchasing activities are cost-effective, timely, and compliant with company standards and policies.
Duties and Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best value for the company.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with agreements.
- Maintain proper purchasing records, documentation, and reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
- Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in purchasing or procurement.
