Sr. General Service Officer
Job Description
Ethio Impact Consulting PLC is seeking a General Service Officer on behalf of a private company.
Is responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring property use, and ensuring that general services are provided properly
Duties and Responsibilities
- Submit and monitor timely payments for utilities and security services.
- Oversee cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of assets, buildings, and vehicles.
- Ensure company assets and vehicles are insured, including new acquisitions.
- Coordinate and monitor repairs for damaged assets, involving professionals if needed.
- Prepare and manage asset handovers for employees, maintain safety equipment, and submit monthly departmental reports.
- Assist the Manager, Procurement and Facility Management Division with market research and development of vendor database
- Prepare bid documents and invitation to bid.
- Organize the bidding program.
- Prepare and send quotation requests for shortlisted suppliers and collect Proforma invoices
- Collect and organize items to be purchased as per work unit requests.
- Keep in maintenance of procurement minutes, records and documentation.
- Handle the supply chain management and customs clearance.
Requirments
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Procurement Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related fields.
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in Procurement is advantageous
