Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for a Fuel And Lubricant supply Manager on behalf of a Private
Company.
Is responsible for the procurement, storage, distribution, and management of fuel and lubricants, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations. Is also responsible for liquid freight transport management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify reliable fuel suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor fuel stock levels, prevent shortages, and optimize storage capacity.
- Ensure smooth transportation and distribution of fuel to various locations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with fuel vendors and logistics providers.
- Ensure
- lubricants meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to environmental and safety regulations regarding fuel storage and handling.
- Identify and mitigate risks such as fuel price fluctuations, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes.
- Implement strategies to reduce fuel costs and minimize wastage.
- Track fuel price trends, supply chain developments, and regulatory changes.
- Generate reports on fuel consumption, costs, and operational efficiency for management
Requirements
- BA in Industrial engineering or relate
- 5 to 7 years direct experience on fuel supply management.
- Strong knowledge of fuel procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Negotiation and supplier management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of safety and environmental regulations
- Budgeting and cost control expertise
- Proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools
