Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for a Corporate Marketing and Sales Department Director on behalf of a Private company.
- The Director, under the overall leadership of the DMD for Business Operations of the Company, is
responsible for the overall leadership, management and supervision of the Marketing and Sales initiatives
of the company. His/ her duties and responsibilities may include establishing and maintaining Marketing
and Sales Management policies and procedures, directs the execution of the same. - Supervises Sales and Distribution Division Head, Export Sales Division Head, Market Research and
Development Division Head, and Customer Service and Market Promotion Division Head.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, organizes, administers, directs and controls all the local and foreign sales, marketing research,
distribution and promotional activities of the company. - Prepares overall marketing and sales strategy.
- Plans & directs the sales and promotional marketing campaigns (messages, targets, media, schedule,
and budgets) with approval by DMD/MD. - Measures promotion effectiveness and reports to higher levels of management.
- Ensures strong distribution network through close relationship with wholesalers and key account
customers. - Serves as liaisons between the company and distributors, customers, and promoters.
- Oversees market research activities (approves scope, research design, instruments, data collection,
analysis, and reporting) on issues such as market targeting & segmentation and customer satisfaction. - Develop reports summarizing key findings and making related recommendations.
- Develops and implements strategies to expand existing market penetration and enter new markets
without mission drifts. - Designs strategies to increases revenue generation and market share.
- Designs strategies for marketing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conducts continuous assessments and periodic surveys of customer satisfaction and take the required
remedy. - Undertakes marketing audits to monitor sales performance.
- Manages marketing related contracts.
- Monitors the external environment for new pricing, product offers and distribution channels.
- Prepares periodic performance report and submit to the DMD
- Performs other similar tasks as assigned by the DMD and other top level managers.
REQUIREMENTS
- MA/MSC/ BSC/BA in Marketing Management or related fields.
- 8/10years’ experience out of which 3/4 years should be in managerial position(s). Experience in
marketing management, domestic sales management, foreign market/export Management, customer
services, and etc. in large corporate entities with industrial, agricultural, mining and construction sector involvement is advantageous. Extensive knowledge and experience in preparing Marketing and Sales Management manuals, systems, policies and standards is a benefit. - Desirable training: Marketing and Sales Management tools like market development strategies, sales
planning, marketing software, etc.
