Job Description
Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for an Accountant on behalf of a Private Company.
The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic business decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and the cosmetics manufacturing industry, particularly related to product costing, inventory management, and supply chain finance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and cash flow.
- Analyze manufacturing variances, inventory adjustments, and cost allocations.
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and production teams to optimize financial performance.
- Support external audits and work closely with auditors and tax advisors.
- Assist in Peachtree and ERP system maintenance (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Evaluate financial risks and recommend best practices for cost control and efficiency.
REQUIREMENT
- BA Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related Filed.
- 5 years and above of relevant experience.
