Electrician and Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, versatile, and safety-driven Technician to ensure the optimal performance and uptime of our facility’s electrical and mechanical systems. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical control systems, motors, generators, pumps, conveyors, and production machinery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, distribution panels, motor control centers (MCC), and three-phase power systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in electrical machinery, backup generators, UPS systems, and industrial lighting networks.
• Ensure all electrical work strictly complies with national electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Execute advanced preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
• Perform precision alignment, vibration analysis, and lubrication of rotating equipment to prevent premature failure

Requirements

• Degree Holder: BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field, with a minimum of 4 years of progressive, hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Diploma Holder: TVET Diploma Level III or Level IV in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related trade, with a minimum of 6 years of progressive, hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
