Senior Accountant
Job Description
We are looking to hire a qualified and experienced female Senior Accountant to join our growing team.
Sector: Construction (Import Experience Preferred)
Net Salary: ETB 20,000
Work Location: Garad Mall, Addis Ababa
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Handle project-based accounting for construction projects
- Monitor project costs, payments, and cash flow
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with management on financial planning and cost control
- Manage import-related financial documentation and payment
Requirements
- Female applicants only
- Minimum of 6 years proven experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in the construction sector
- Additional experience in the import sector is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of construction cost accounting, project accounting, and financial report in
- Good understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
