Assist in daily bookkeeping, voucher preparation, and sorting of financial documents.
Help maintain accurate records of expenses, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Support the preparation of basic financial statements, including:Expense details, Accounts receivable/payable summaries, Monthly and quarterly basic reports.
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and the company’s financial procedures.
Conduct initial checks of daily expense documents based on company policies.
Assist in reviewing and verifying supporting documents for payments and reimbursements.
Use Excel, Word, and other office tools to prepare financial data and basic reports.
Operate accounting software such as Peachtree (if experienced).
Assist in data entry, filing, and document management for the finance department.
Work closely with the finance team to complete assigned tasks on time.
Communicate proactively with other departments when collecting financial information.
Use English as the main working language; basic Chinese communication is an advantage.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or related fields.
1–2 years of financial work experience; priority for candidates with experience in accounting firms or corporate finance departments.
Understanding of Ethiopian tax laws, basic financial regulations, and accounting processes.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and general office software.
Experience with basic accounting software (e.g., Peachtree) is an added advantage.
Ability to organize and prepare financial documents accurately.
Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
