Job Description
Recording, controlling and follow up of the overall movement i.e., transfer, issuance and receipt of stock items and fixed assets and maintain accurate and updated, reconciled stock balance with Finance Department and provide reliable information on stock position to requesting department/concerned body and the Division Head to facilitate timely placement of new order to replenish stock.
- Maintaining up to date recording system to control stock movement and document flow
- Maintaining maximum & minimum inventory level set by the department and maintaining optimum stock level in order to minimize annual stock carrying and procurement cost.
- Providing reliable and timely information to responsible body concerning slow moving items and aged stocks.
- Based on movement of stock and availability space of the warehouse suggesting Economic Order Quantity (EOQ).
- Maintaining and generating monthly balance report of stock items by recording and following up transaction and items movement.
- Making reconciliation of Stock Cards, Bin Card and physical counts of each store with the concerned store keeper every week and on dates prescribed
- Update stock records regularly with Cash and Credit Sales Invoices, Delivery Order, Fixed Asset
- Receiving and Issuing Voucher, Foreign and Local Goods Receiving Notes (GRN), Store Issue Voucher (SIV), Transfers, other related approved documents
- Collecting relevant documents, recording and maintaining stock items with their colors and general stock balance from different stores on daily basis.
- Ensuring that appropriate procedures are being followed by the user department/body during receipt and issuance of stock items.
- Developing and follow up fixed asset register and maintaining files for reconciliation and future reference.
Qualification Requirement
- Degree or College Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management or Accounting.
- 2 years for Degree & 4 years for Diploma relevant work experience.
