Job Description
Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for a Factory Manager on behalf of our client.
This position oversees all aspects of production, including machinery, manpower, Quality control, and safety, purchasing and material management, Human capital & general service, finance management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead business unit strategy meetings and set Factory objectives aligned with overall business unit plan, ensuring team alignment and goal achievement.
- Develop and implement production plans, coordinating with sales and marketing teams to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines.
- Optimize production flow, oversee raw material procurement, and develop preventative maintenance programs to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Lead and motivate production employees, implementing training programs to enhance skills, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure a safe work environment, monitor performance, and implement quality control procedures to meet specifications and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Manage inventory levels, liaise with other departments for smooth production flow, and perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management or related fields
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience
- Experienced in QMS
- Worked on PMP
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in production data analysis and reporting.
- Commitment to safety and a proven ability to maintain a safe work environment.
