Job Description

Ethio Impact Consulting PLC is seeking an Market Research Analyst on behalf of a private company.

  • A market research analyst specializes in studying market conditions to identify potential sales opportunities for a product or service. They collect and analyze data on consumers’ preferences, buying habits, and economic trends to help companies make informed decisions about their products and marketing strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to gather insights on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
  • Design and implement surveys, focus groups, and other research methodologies to collect data.
  • Analyze and interpret data to identify market opportunities, challenges, and potential areas for growth.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to align research insights with business objectives.
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to provide ongoing insights.
  • Maintain a database of market research findings and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies based on research insights.
  • Perform other related tasks as required
  • Undertakes such additional duties which may from time to time be assigned to the Employee in the discharge of his/her duties.
  • To ensure that a correct and proper image of the Company is maintained at all times.

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, statistics, or related field with Three (3) years of relevant work experience.
  • Full professional qualification is desirable.
  • Proven experience as a Market Research Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
