Job Description
The sales officer is responsible for identifying business opportunities, engaging clients on-site, preparing competitive bids and proposals, and driving revenue growth through direct sales and tender participation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to identify and engage potential clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through face-to-face meetings
- Present company products/services on-site and address client inquiries professionally
- Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, client needs, and emerging opportunities
- Monitor public and private tender portals for relevant opportunities
- Prepare complete bid documents
- Maintain a bid pipeline tracker and report on win/loss analysis
Requirments
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in:
- Outdoor/field sales (B2B)
- Bid/tender preparation and submission
