Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the daily operations of the accounting department, while also assisting with general office administration. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to grow and develop within a supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures that books of accounts are maintained, receipts and other financial documents are kept properly and that they are safeguarded against misuses;
  • Develops mechanisms to ensure that operations of the company are implemented in cost effective manner;
  • Record payments, sales, to peach tree accounting
  • Prepare weekly cash plans, cash reports and petty cash summary;
  • Handle petty cash funds and prepare expense reports
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation for bank accounts, customer balances, vendor balances
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting & analyzing account information
  • Prepares payments by verifying documentation
  • Follow-up and renew the cash register machines on a timely fashion
  • Prepares Daily bank balance & monthly bank reconciliation report
  • File & reporting monthly and yearly taxes VAT, WHT, Income taxes and others to the respective tax authorities on E-Tax.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records. both electronic and physical
  • Facilitate and assist auditors by supplying the required documents upon authorization
  • Any other business as assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, and maintaining office calendars.
  • Support & Handle Purchase of office supplies.
  • Provide general clerical support to the finance and management team.

Requirments

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Female applicants are encouraged
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., Peachtree).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
