Job Description
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Research & Development Officer to lead product innovation and market analysis initiatives. The role focuses on analyzing market trends and customer needs to support strategic decision-making, developing and improving products, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure offerings align with market demands and business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data on customers, markets, and trends.
- Monitor industry developments, technology trends, and changes in consumer behavior.
- Identify customer needs, pain points, and purchasing behavior to inform product decisions.
- Convert market insights into product concepts and feature improvements.
- Develop product concepts with clear value propositions, target audiences, and key features.
- Ensure product requirements align with market needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
- Use performance and market data to guide future product development and strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ Degree in Marketing / Management/ Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years and above relevant experience in the position
- Able to work with others and a good team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
