Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for Grants and Partnership Advisor on behalf of an INGO.
The position holder will be responsible for providing comprehensive program and grant management support for AAU-CVMA programmes. This includes ensuring compliance, monitoring progress, managing relationships, and offering mentorship, coaching, and guidance throughout the sub-grant lifecycle.”
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting: –
Oversee and provide support to CVMA project, ensure the data gathered and assessments reported during the inception period, is used to fine tune and develop a relevant and realistic project plan;
Oversee and support CVMA project staff on preparation and submission of an updated detailed project plan;
Facilitate approval of amendments based on the findings of data collection, assessments and any changes that have immediate effect on the project;
Support CVMA to translate the projects’ Log Frame matrices into appropriate monitoring, evaluation and reporting mechanisms and tools;
Oversee and support the preparation of appropriate project reports to different stakeholders as needed;
Support CVMA on publicity of the Program by enriching reports with case stories and evidences as appropriate;
Support CVMA on Program documentation and sharing of lessons learned from implementation, assessments and evaluations.
- Compliance Assurance
Provide compliance and operational guidance for the CVMA project staff; to the government statutory and TDS requirements; project plans and standards.
Provide assistance in understanding TDS UK/Ethiopia project obligations and help to meet the obligation as required;
Ensure submission of reports according to the agreed reporting schedule and formats;
- Grant Management & Reporting
Provide technical support to strengthen CVMA financial management, reporting, and compliance capacities;
Guide CVMA to understand and implement organizational and government requirements;
Collaborate with CVMA project staff and leadership, to monitor budget utilization and ensure funds are spent according to the grant agreement;
Support AAU-CVMA on variance justification when there is significant budget variance;
Support the project manager and partners in their budget forecasting;
Assist the project staff with financial reporting and ensure timely submission of required documentation;
Assist CVMA to ensure TDS requirements are applied when advance funds are requested and when the release of the funds are processed.
- Capacity building & Liaising
Assess the capacity gap of the CVMA project team and propose capacity building action as needed;
Train and conduct a one to one coaching to project team as needed;
Organize capacity building training for project staff based on the capacity gap action plan;
Act as a focal person with the project stakeholders’.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years project management experience, of which at least 2, managing projects implemented by partners.
- A minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a partnership oriented (I)NGO.
- Experience in budget development, monitoring and reporting.
- Demonstrable experience of managing internal and external relationships and partnerships, particularly with implementing partners and project stakeholders.
- Proven experience of increasing responsibility in overall project management, complex budgeting, operations, and financial management in an INGO setting.
- Enriched experience of working within a local government structure.
