4th FRESH GRADUATE TRAINING

On Friday, August 23, 2024, we proudly concluded our 4th Fresh Graduate Training Program, marking another successful milestone in our social commitment to empowering young professionals. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and our trainer Mr. Eyob Girma whose participation made this event a success.

The primary aim of this training was to help graduates with essential knowledge about the work environment and to enhance their soft skills, crucial for navigating the job-hunting process. Participants learned how to craft compelling CVs and master interview techniques, ensuring they present themselves effectively to potential employers.

In addition to these practical skills, we stressed the importance of prioritizing their goals when applying for various job opportunities. Financial concerns are a significant issue for many, particularly for recent graduates who may mistakenly believe that a degree will quickly lead to high earnings. This often results in unrealistic salary expectations during interviews. We held a thorough discussion with our trainees about the need to prioritize either financial rewards or career development depending on their needs. Also, we focused on training them the soft skill development and provided insights into various company cultures and procedures. Understanding these dynamics is vital for graduates as they transition from academic settings to professional environments. We also focused on professional growth, advocating for fresh graduates to engage in diverse skill-building opportunities and volunteer work, which can significantly enhance their employability.
