Job Description
Responsible for monitoring the financial health of an organization using financial reports. Direct, perform and control the overall activities of the company’s finance. Oversee the creation of many reports, including financial statements, business activity reports and forecasts based on current trends. Deals with major issues related with payments, banking process, financial issues with suppliers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations of the organization
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Lead annual budget preparation
- Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian laws and regulations
- Address audit findings and implement improvements
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian laws and regulations
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Negotiate loans and credit facilities
- Advise management on financial strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance
- 8+ Years in an accounting/finance department preferably in trading company plus 4 years of managerial position
