Job Description
- Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing different stores maintaing and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items. In addition, he/she is responsible for securing warehouse as well as supervising staff.
- Regular inspection of warehouse layout, i.e arrangement of the materials in the store and its operation, materials handling and documentation in the division.
- Give Logistical support in every direction whenever needed and check and verify documents that come out of the Division.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Organizes, directs and controls the flow and transfer of raw materials and finished goods from stores and control the dispatch of sold goods from stores to customers in an efficient and effective way in order to minimize the overall warehousing and supply of the company and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Plan, analyse, execute and monit management Policies, SOPs, tire, promote transfer, suspend and layoff employee or take disciplinary measure against employee.
- Ensures that clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these,
- Ensures reserved items and updated stock balance are submitted in Sales division and Showrooms on daily bases.
- Responsible for receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, and also coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
- Ensures that there is smooth flow of relevant information to all subordinates and creates team work within and among sections.
- Manages and controls inventory, by following on past trends and plan or future orders and consumptions.
- Oversees all items movement to determine fast and slow moving items and keeping up the reorder time, clearance of damaged and old age stocks, parts and components.
- Develops, implements and controls systems on how to store and handle products and best suited, stores based on company.
- Assures that there is uninterrupted flow of raw materials from sources, safe and efficient storage of stocks, availability and proper supply of stocks and related
- Information so that production, sales and distribution will run smoothly, efficiently und effectively.
- Organize warehouse and production for quarterly and yearly stock counting with collaboration of concerned department and divisions.
- Keeping truck of the current inventory of the company and anticipate the company’s future needs to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of raw materials and fished goods and other supplies to increase customer satisfaction and facilitating proper execution of daily routines.
Job Requirement
- Education
– MABA Degree in Procurement & Supply chain management Accounting Business Administration, Logistics or related disciplines. - Experience
– For MA Degree a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience out of which 2 years in managerial position and for BA Degree a minimum of o years relevant work experience out of which 3 years in managerial post MENDAFT - Additional Skills
-Experience in furniture production and material management, etc.
-Experience in inventory management system plus (MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
