Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is seeking a Grants and Partnership Advisor for one of our NGO client.
The Grants and Partnership Advisor will provide strategic and operational support to the project, ensuring alignment with donor requirements. institutional standards, and national regulations. The role focuses on strengthening project planning, compliance, financial management, partnership coordination, and learning ultimately enhancing the quality, accountability, and impact of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide support to project, ensure the data gathered and assessments
reported during the inception period, is used to fine tune and develop a relevant and realistic
project plan - Facilitate timely approval of necessary project amendments based on emerging evidence, assessments, or contextual changes.
- Guide staff in developing and submitting a detailed, updated project work plan.
- Support the translation of the project’s Logical Framework into practical monitoring, evaluation, and reporting tools.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of high-quality narrative and technical reports for donors, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Enhance visibility and learning by integrating compelling case studies, success stories, and evidence into program reports and communications.
- Provide staff with clear guidance on adhering to statutory requirements, donor regulations and organizational policies.
- Ensure submission of reports according to the agreed reporting schedule and formats
- Collaborate with project staff and leadership, to monitor budget utilization and ensure funds are spent according to the grant agreement
- Assist the project staff with financial reporting and ensure timely submission of required documentation
- Organize capacity building training for project staff based on the capacity gap action plan
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years demonstrated experience on project management, of which at least two years of experience on managing project implemented by partners
- Minimum 2 to 3 year of experience in a partnership oriented (I)NGO
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and working with local government structures
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and adaptive project management
