Job Description

We are looking for an energetic self-starter to join our team in the role of Senior Supply chain officer. You will work directly with our general manager to oversee overall supply chain and logistics of our business. you will be responsible for developing effective supply chain strategies and its implementation for our range of food products. You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with Suppliers, distributors, and Farmers unions, while also identifying new sourcing opportunities and market trends. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual with a passion for the food industry and a strong sales background.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.
  • Overseeing daily order fulfillment activities, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping preparation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure on-time production and delivery.
    Identifying and implementing systems to optimize warehouse and fulfillment operations
  • Implement robust inventory control measures to prevent stockouts, overstock situations, and product obsolescence.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that products meet the company’s quality standards throughout the supply chain.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate logistics partners and negotiate contracts to optimize costs and service levels.
  • Develop and manage export logistics, customs, partners, effectiveness.
  • Develop sourcing strategy for all key inputs of the Truluv production process, along with major capex with support of senior management.
  • Look for continuous improvements in the quality, availability and pricing of our key inputs.
  • Develop local alternatives for imported inputs.

  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and distributors
  • Manage store employees, drivers, quality lead and related employees
  • Manage and train supply chain staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics ,Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain management role.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software (e.g., ERP).
  • A passion for healthy food and understanding of sustainable sourcing practices (a plus).
