Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Officer with strong knowledge of biomedical equipment to drive sales growth and manage key customer relationships within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of medical and biomedical devices, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to provide technical sales support to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets for biomedical equipment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and healthcare providers.
- Promote and sell biomedical equipment by effectively communicating product features, benefits, and applications.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with healthcare professionals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer requirements within the biomedical sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including biomedical engineers, procurement teams, and clinicians.
- Manage negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract agreements.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Address customer inquiries, technical concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of biomedical equipment specifications, installation requirements, and usage.
- Coordinate with technical and service teams for equipment installation, training, and after-sales support.
- Support customers with basic troubleshooting and escalate complex technical issues when necessary.
- Ensure proper documentation of product specifications, compliance certificates, and warranties.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipelines using CRM systems.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
- Track sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and market penetration.
- Support payment follow-ups and receivables collection as required.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with healthcare regulations, tender requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare and manage quotations, tenders, and sales contracts.
- Ensure ethical sales practices and adherence to industry standards.
Requirment
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven 2 years’ experience in sales of biomedical or medical equipment.
- Strong technical understanding of biomedical devices and healthcare systems.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets under pressure.
