Job Description

The sales officer is responsible for identifying business opportunities, engaging clients on-site, preparing competitive bids and proposals, and driving revenue growth through direct sales and tender participation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular field visits to identify and engage potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through face-to-face meetings
  • Present company products/services on-site and address client inquiries professionally
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, client needs, and emerging opportunities
  • Monitor public and private tender portals for relevant opportunities
  • Prepare complete bid documents
  • Maintain a bid pipeline tracker and report on win/loss analysis

Requirments

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in:
  • Outdoor/field sales (B2B)
  • Bid/tender preparation and submission
