Job Description
The Outlet Cashier is responsible for accurately process sales, receive payment in the form of cash, checks, wire transfers, or credit card transactions, provide receipts to customers for goods or services purchased/rendered and assists customers with various questions typically related to the payment and account balance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately process sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Receive payments in cash, card, or other approved methods
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges according to company policy
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in accounting ,hotel management or related field
- 3 years’ experience as a cashier in hospitality industry
- Ability to operate POS machines and electronic payment systems
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and handle transactions accurately
Languages: Proficiency in English is required
