Job Description

This position requires a dynamic, proactive, and result-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and hands-on experience in marketing, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement. The officer will leading marketing initiatives, strengthening strategic partnerships, and identifying opportunities for new projects, collaborations, and donor engagement, support brand visibility, develop outreach strategies, and build meaningful relationships that contribute to business expansion and organizational sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Manage digital marketing activities, including social media, website updates, and online campaigns.
  • Create and align marketing content (graphics, posts, brochures, presentations) with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate promotional events, webinars, trainings, and outreach campaigns.
  • Conduct market assessments and competitor analysis to support informed decision making.

 

2. Partnership Development & Engagement
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships with private companies, NGOs, financial institutions, government bodies, and community stakeholders.
  • Initiate partnerships that create funding, program expansion, or business opportunities for the organization.
  • Facilitate formal agreements (MoUs, partnership proposals, cooperation frameworks).
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships that support organizational growth.
  • Attend networking events and represent the organization professionally.
3. Donor Relations & Project Acquisition
  • Identify donor agencies, investment opportunities, and potential funding streams.
  • Assist in developing concept notes, proposals, and partnership pitches.
  • Track donor requirements, market trends, and partnership opportunities.
  • Support reporting and communication with partners and donors.
4. Communication & Brand Enhancement
  • Prepare high-quality communication materials, newsletters, reports, and success stories.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing and partnership activities.
  • Develop storytelling content that captures organizational impact and achievements.
5. Internal Coordination & Support
  • Collaborate with internal teams (training, communication, HR, programs) to align marketing and partnership efforts.
  • Support event planning, project communication, and stakeholder engagement tasks.
  • Provide regular updates to management on marketing performance, partnership leads, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Partnership Management, Communications, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in marketing, partnerships, donor relations, or business development.
  • Required Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong experience in partnership building, networking, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to acquire projects, pitch ideas, and build donor relationships.
  • Digital marketing and social media management skills.
  • Proposal writing and concept note development experience (advantageous).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Creative, proactive, and results-driven personality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic design tools (Canva or similar).
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
