Roles and Responsibilities

. Establish financial controls and accounting, measurement and reporting systems across the company

. Support and advise the business by delivering high quality management reporting, on financial implications of business decisions

. Establish financial principles, procedures and practices

. Lead implementation of investment, balance sheet and funding strategies optimizing performance

. Oversee treasury operations

. Monitor sales and expense performance, and provide feedback for action Human Resources Management

. Develop formal systems for improving, tracking and rewarding staff performance

. Manage recruitment and career programs, implementation of Learning and Development strategy and programs,

. Complete annual engagement survey

. Drive workforce management, resource optimization and continuous improvement, productive physical workplace environment Procurement and Facilities

. Oversee procurement and facilities operations IT Management

. Set IT strategy and implement strategic and operational BU plans

. Ensure system/hardware functionality and usefulness

. Lead development/ maintenance of internal software and electronic data processes

. Establish data warehousing governance

. Manage IT security and develop action plans, and develop and implement disaster recovery strategy

. Ensure system functionality meets company requirements

Requirements

– MA/BA Degree in Accounting/ Management/ Economics or related field

– 8- 10 Years of relevant experience

– 4 of which in managerial position at Banks, Micro-Finance or Financial Institution is advantageous

– Extensive knowledge of Financial Industry management practical and procedure operations

– Skills in recruitment, talent development, and performance management to build a high-performing team.

– Knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, and employment law.

– Ability to develop and oversee IT strategies and policies that align with business objectives.

– Experience with implementing and integrating IT systems and solutions that support financial and HR functions.

– Proficiency in managing and coordinating cross-functional projects involving finance, HR, and IT.

– Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills

– Comprehensive knowledge of Resource management

– Understanding of corporate governance principles and practices relevant to microfinance institutions.

– Familiarity with financial statements, reporting, and financial management within the context of microfinance.

– Crisis Management, Decision Making & Communication

– Strong work ethics and high level of integrity
