Warehouse Officer
Job Description
Ethio Impact Consulting Plc is looking for a Warehouse Officer on behalf of a private company.
Warehouse operations with a focus on efficient stock management, import documentation handling and accurate inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a solid understanding of warehouse management systems and import/export procedures. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth flow of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting timely customs clearance and delivery processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and ensure real time data accuracy.
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to maintain inventory integrity.
- Manage and verify import related documentation, including delivery notes, customs clearance papers and goods receipt reports.
- Coordinate with logistics, procurement and customs teams to ensure timely receipt, processing and dispatch of goods.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in stock levels, documentation or delivery records promptly.
- Maintain organized and up to date warehouse records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, safety and accuracy.
- Prioritize daily tasks effectively to meet operational deadlines and service level agreements.
Requirement
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with a minimum of 5/3 years experience in commercial or trading companies providing import/export services.
