The BSc. in Garment Engineering program spans five academic years and was the first of its kind, covering courses in Garment Engineering disciplines alongside other relevant ancillary subjects. The program addresses the demand for qualified and skilled engineers in the manufacturing sector of the apparel and fashion industry, which has historically lagged in quality, productivity, and lead times compared to global standards. The introduction of this program is part of an Engineering Capacity Building initiative aimed at fulfilling the long-standing need for experienced and well-trained personnel to enhance quality and productivity in the Garment Industry, which currently faces significant challenge
